SUMMARY

Solato is building the premium gelato platform for foodservice — combining a high-end, single-serve machine with a capsule system designed to scale through distribution. We don’t sell machines. We build markets.
Florida is live. Distribution is established with national and local partners. Brokers are in place. The opportunity now is speed, scale, and execution. This is a hunter role. You are responsible for turning distribution into demand, anchor accounts into market credibility, and machine placements into high-velocity capsule consumption.
Your job is simple and hard: win big accounts, build momentum, and make Florida a pull-through market.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Hunting & Closing
- Prospect, pitch, and close high-volume foodservice operators across hospitality, leisure, healthcare, education, and non-commercial segments.
- Lead with anchor account strategy — target brands and operators that unlock market credibility and downstream demand.
- Run a disciplined pipeline that supports consistent monthly machine placements. Turning Distribution into Velocity
- Leverage established and new local distributors to convert approved status into active, ordering, consuming accounts.
- Work the field with brokers to drive account activation, menu adoption, and reorder behavior.
- Make capsules move — not just machines.

WHO YOU ARE

- A proven foodservice hunter — not an account manager.

- 5+ years selling through brokers and broadline/specialty distributors.

- Comfortable walking into kitchens, meeting GMs, chefs, and F&B directors, and closing on the spot.

- Competitive, self-directed, and driven by performance-based pay.

- Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 40 lbs regularly.

- Organized enough to run a real pipeline, forecast, and execute without being babysat.
